One codebase

Kotlin Multiplatform + Compose Multiplatform for Android and iOS. Shared: the finance engine, data layer, every screen, the mascot and translations. Per platform: billing, reminders, calling, the contact picker, export and backup.

A finance engine checked to the cent

Pure Kotlin, tested against reference cases. Money in whole cents, rates in parts per million, interest rounded monthly like a bank statement. Annuity, equal-capital, interest-only and construction loans, variable-rate revisions and bank reconciliation.

ArMo, drawn in code

Drawn and animated entirely on Compose Canvas: no animation files, no third-party animation tools.

Local-first data

Stored on the device in a forward-compatible format, so older backups always open in newer versions.

Permission-light

No contacts, call, SMS, camera, storage or exact-alarm permissions. It uses the phone’s own dialer, pickers and share sheets; reminders use the system scheduler.

A fair-play server

For pieces and Ask ArMo only: the single authoritative ledger, device-integrity checks on Android and iOS, idempotent rewards, daily caps and server time.

Built for real people: light and full dark mode, three motion levels (Full, Subtle, Off) that follow “reduce motion”, large-font support, and full EN/FR/NL with local number formats.
